National War Memorial
What a place! It really make us think, reflect and care about the people who offered their lives for their country. The children were so respectful.
Island Bay Marine Reserve
This morning we drove to Island Bay. Victor and Judy, our experts, allowed us to explore the life in the rock pools. Very cool! We handled the creatures with great care. Beautiful weather...

Feast Day
Feast Day is always fun. We start with Mass for our Patron Saint Mary, next comes the parade of colourful classes. After morning tea comes the Talent Quest. It's a mighty display of our students performing talents; singing, dancing, the playing of musical instruments and rapping. Lunch time brings a feast that is very partyish and delicious. The day ends with Tabloids, with the Year 8's leading teams so well. Lots of gentle guiding, supporting, encouraging and the sharing of lollies!! Yum.

TACs Cross Country
2012 TACs Cross Country at Puketapu School was a perfect day. Although the course was challenging, steep and poohy, it was exciting and not too slippery. All of our students ran their hearts out. Congratulations to Olivia who came second in the Year 8 Girls race.

Catholic Clash
On Friday 7th September, combined with the Yr 7 and 8s from St Joseph's, we competed against St Patrick's in the annual Catholic Clash. The weather was fantastic, the competition tough and sportsmanship fair. Unfortunately the Hastings team lost out. Bring on next year.
